A number of houses have been raided recently in the South Galway village of Ballymanagh near Craughwell. The robberies of three private houses took place in the early hours of the morning. The robberies took place in Ballymanagh and Mannin between 2 and 6 in the morning. All residents were in their homes at the time but were not alerted to the burglar's breaking in because no security alarms were installed and they entered the houses via the back door. Small items such as computer games, dvds and handbags were stolen.
